I think that camp harmony can be considered both inappropriate because when people look at the word harmony, they would think about a melody right away. Harmony is something cool to people. A lot of people won't take a very long time to think about the title but they'll get straight right into the events. They won't take time to think about that does the author means when she named it "Camp Harmony". When I asked, right after they heard the word harmony, they suddenly think of a sweet melody. Even when I look up on online dictionaries, it says harmony is an agreeable sound property, agreement of opinions, a harmonious state of things in general and of their properties as of colors and sounds but is it?
There's a part in the story(page 520, paragraph 2, 2nd column), the author said. "What was I doing behind the fence, like a criminal? It doesn't sound like a harmony any more. Also that part, "May be I wasn't considered an American anymore. My citizenship wasn't real after all." and it doesn't sound equal like the meaning of the word harmony so I think that the name Harmony is not appropriate for this short story.
Great! ;)
