Personal Narrative - 2nd eddition

                                    My Terrible Day

Before telling you this story of mine, you need to know I'm a dog lover, I love dog, I like to teach them cool tricks and I like to play with them although some don't like and won't do it but I try and try more and this is the story of one time ... I was in the U.S, It was about 7.30 pm so it's really dark ( winter time) my brother's friend come and she brought her pet and that dog is really cool, she already know some trick so I try to teach her some more but ...

" Woof, Woof " the dog just jump at me like a lightning just hit me. Then, I don't know what's next but this is what my mom told me. The dog fly to me and my mom didn't know did it scratch me or did it bites me, I just faint and blood start to come out. Everyone freaks out and my brother's friend bring her dogs home. My brother drive me to the hospital. I woke up while we are on the car. I ask a lot of question but I can't remember one specific one. When I wake up, the it's like I'm on a roler coaster that's about to go up side down. We arrived, It's chilling outside and I just can't wait to get into the hospital. When we sign up, we have to fill in a long, long form. We took the longest to fill it because we have to call my dad to ask for informations that we don't know and can't remember. Then we sit there waiting for our turn, and when I look around, I feel like everyone else should go before me because there are small kids like one and two years old who got their whole body burned, there's a womena and I think her arm was broken and there were several more. I can't remember all but I can remember that there were a lot of burned kids and adulds. I wonder why there were so many people got burned on one  day. We went into a small room, there's this lady with a computer with a finger testy thingy and I put my finger in there and I try to look and check what's on the screen but I can't because the lady turned over so fast. Then the lady says " Perfect" then I go outside, sit and wait for a little more, then they give me an ice cream and I was really nervous because if a dog fly, jump, or touch you and make you bleed, it would be really horrible because you have to take at lease five shots and I think we have to do it several time, so you wouldn't want a dog to attack you unless you want to use a traditional, old fashion, historic way to cure it. If you want to chose the second way, you pick up a chilli, cut it out, use the knife to touch the head of the chilli and touch it briefly until there's a little water on the knife, then you slowly and gently put it on the scratch or bites and I think you cure yourself or just go online and search for a quink way to do it and fast but expensive, go to the hospital. My brother and my mother try to comfort me but I can feel my heart pounding so hard that it feel like it going to fall out. I step into a room and it's an enormous. There are hundreds of tiny other room. There are a lot of doctor with lab coats in there. They look like professional and they have a lot of tools and computer in there. The lab coat are so white and it does not have any blood stane so it comfort me a little. I didn't go in any of the room. The doctor told me to lie down on a bed outside one of the room, I was still scared but my brother says I will be fine. The doctor put a sticky and cold thing on the scar and she say, don't touch it or go to bath this night. I did and it just makes everything normal again. Just then I reallize, if it or something won't except you, don't try to chase it because later on, you might, oh no, you will, you will trip and fall. It's such a horrible, bloody memory ...

  1. Good start Mindy! I think that getting bit by a dog is a very traumatic experience. Add more detail and description. What did the hospital look like? What were the people around in the waiting room like? Remember use sensory details to help us understand your experience.
